Information You Submit
A name, telephone number, or address entered in a search form goes to the outside provider that returns sponsored results. Our servers do not retain a separate copy of that query. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to answer the message.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs, which can include an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and time stamps. Aggregate log data helps us maintain the service and see which resources are useful. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where those functions apply.
How the Data Is Used
Limited visitor data supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and content improvement. We do not create individual visitor profiles or sell a visitor list.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to government portals, Forsyth County and state offices, library collections, and outside search tools. Information entered on a linked service is controlled by that service’s privacy terms. The same rule applies to sponsored search results, which an independent provider supplies.
Parties That Process Data
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic data already described. We may disclose information when valid legal process requires it, but otherwise do not share visitor data.
Safeguards and Retention
An encrypted connection serves the site, and logs are retained only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Because visitors do not create accounts, we hold no site password or user profile for an attacker to obtain.
Visitors Under 18
This service is meant for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if a minor submitted such information so we can remove it.
Your Privacy Choices
Rights to access, correct, or delete website data depend on where you live. North Carolina had no verified omnibus consumer privacy or data-broker deletion statute as of the research date; sector-specific laws still apply. We can check our contact mailbox and server logs for information connected to a request made through the Contact page. Public records held by Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, or North Carolina remain under the custodian’s control. G.S. 132-1.10 supplies a process for certain prohibited identifiers exposed in recorded documents.
Changes to This Policy
A revised policy will be posted here when our practices change. Using the site after publication means the updated policy applies to that continued use.
